After 28 hours in transit we finally got to Sydney! The first thing we went to see: The Opera House. Then we walk around Circular Quay and The Rocks.

We got a good view of the Sydney Harbor and the bridge.

Australia has many cool and colorful birds, like this one we saw in Sydney. We also took a short trip to the suburbs to visit a Koala park.

A scenic ferry ride took us to Manly Beach, an hour or so from downtown Sydney. It's a very nice beach with surfers everywhere. We stayed until the sunset and took the ferry back to Sydney. The evening view of the opera was spectacular!

Another day trip from Sydney was to Hunter Valley, where we visited some vineyards, tasted many wines and bought a couple of bottles.
