An unexpected layover in Alice Springs gave us time to visit "Desert Park", where we finally saw kangaroos!

                Melbourne was our last stop in Australia. We visited Fitzroy and St. Kilda, pretty cool neighborhoods. It is a nice city with good restaurants bars, and a sense of design!  Next morning we left for New Zealand.
